To the Beach

Depending on where you’re located within Madeira Beach, there is always access to a beach whether specifically in Madeira or one of the other beaches like Treasure Island Beach.

By the Marina

A fun attraction in Madeira Beach is Hubbard’s Marina. This marina has everything you need to spend a day out at sea. Specifically, you can rent different day events and fishing charters directly from Hubbard’s Marina. Some of these attractions include deep-sea fishing, parasailing, snorkeling, and jet skiing. To get even closer to the water, try kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. Give, Woody’s Watersports a call, if you’re looking for some fun in the sun, jet skiing on the gulf. Art and Culture

The arts and culture of Madeira Beach are an integral part of what makes this place unique. This seaside city is known for its sea and pirate-themed venues which add to the allure. A major spot that many residents and visitors like to see, is John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk, which has everything from shopping to dining. With more than 100 places to stop along this boardwalk and only minutes from the Gulf, it will be hard to leave empty-handed. If you’re looking at doing anything artsy, look no further than the Art Walk in Gulfport. On the first Friday and third Saturday of every month, you’ll be able to enjoy live entertainment and lots of art, as you walk down the waterfront in Gulfport from 6 pm-10 pm. Along with the Art Walk, there are multiple museums in adjacent cities such as the Salvador Dali museum, in St. Petersburg.

If you’re looking for something athletic, look no further than the golf courses around Madeira Beach. The top 2 courses are Renaissance Vinoy Golf Club in Snell Isle and Copperhead at Innisbrook. The Vinoy Club, which is next to St. Petersburg, FL has an 18-hole, par 72 course that challenges golfers. If you’re looking at practicing on your swing, Vinoy also has practice putting greens and a driving range. Along with the Vinoy Club, check out the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook in Tampa, FL. Though it is a little drive from Madeira Beach, this golf course is home to the PGA Tour’s Valspar Championship. Grab your putter and book your next tee time at a golf course near St. Petersburg.
