Offshore Fishing Trips with Hubbard’s Marina

Fishing is a way of life for many Tampa Bay Beach area residents, that’s why TRS recommends the very best offshore fishing option: Hubbard’s Marina, located in the heart of John’s Pass Village. A visit to beautiful, sunny coastal Florida isn’t complete without a fishing expedition into the stunning Gulf of Mexico. We have cozy rentals scattered throughout Madeira Beach, many of which are within walking distance of Hubbard’s Marina. You no longer have to search strenuously for what to do in St Pete Beach, merely choose Hubbard’s.

Hubbard’s Marina in a Nutshell

TRS is proud to team up with Hubbard’s for an unforgettable fishing trip. Hubbard’s Marina, a family-owned business since 1928, is the oldest running private charter in the entire Tampa Bay Beach area. They offer ten fishing charters ranging from a brisk five-hour, half-day trip to a 120-mile, 63-hour deep sea expedition. The friendly, skillful staff at Hubbard’s has been traversing the Gulf of Mexico for decades, and their prices are the lowest in town–trust us.

10 Different Charter Options

With so many charter options, it’s important to know the very best one for your group. Hubbard’s offers five10, and 12-hour daytime and five and 12-hour nighttime fishing charters. Don’t forget about the five-hour trophy shark charter! The 12-hour Extreme HUB 2 charter is a popular option. The HUB 2 cruises at least 70 miles out to sea in search of trophy fish. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, hop aboard a 3944, or 63-hour charter.

What You’ll Catch

There are hundreds of fish species in these waters, so what you’ll catch depends on the charter. On a half-day trip, you’ll likely reel in grey snapper, porgie, black sea bass, and (depending on the season and bait type) kingfish, mackerel, hogfish, or mangrove. On a 10 to 12 hour trip, you’ll have a chance at amberjack, cobia, tuna, bonito, African pompano, and multiple species’ of grouper and snapper. You could catch just about anything on a two-day excursion, including grouper, snapper, mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, marlin, tiles, and sailfish.
