Our Response to COVID-19

During the Coronavirus outbreak, the wellbeing of our guests, owners, staff, and community is our top priority. We have made changes to our daily operating procedures and policies in order to meet or exceed guidelines issued by the CDC. Some of the steps we have taken include:

  • We are offering a ”Contact-Free Check In” option by allowing guests to electronically complete the check in process prior to arrival in an effort to minimize face-to-face contact upon arrival.
  • Additional cleaning measures are in place to ensure disinfection of the kitchen and bathroom areas as well as other high-contact surfaces throughout the unit.
  • Additional disinfection procedures are also in place for common areas and shared spaces at all condo associations managed by TRS.
  • We have our own commercial laundry machines to wash bed linen and towels at the proper temperature for sanitization. Other companies or individual owners may be using the consumer grade washers and dryers within the unit.
  • Upon arrival, we are providing resources and guidelines from the CDC, State of Florida, and Pinellas County.
  • Our cancellation policy has been modified to give peace of mind to all guests staying during 2020 who made a reservation prior to December 1, 2020.

We are welcoming guests at all properties and truly look forward to accommodating you. The warm weather, low-crowds, and beautiful beaches are sure to shed your “stay-at-home blues”!  We also understand that you may not be able to visit right now due to travel restrictions or health concerns, but no worries, we will still be here for whenever you are ready! Q:  What is your current cancellation policy?

A: Our policy varies depending on your travel dates:

For stays occurring Jan 1, 2021 – April 15, 2021: For a limited time we are offering a “30-Day Cancellation Policy” which will allow for a refund minus a $55 cancellation fee if at least 30 day notice is given. If you prefer to receive a voucher instead of a refund, we will waive the cancellation fee.

For stays occurring after April 15, 2021: Our “Standard” cancellation policy applies. At least 60 day notice is required to be eligible for a refund minus a $55 cancellation fee.

Q:  Can I purchase Travel Insurance?

A: Travel Insurance is highly recommended to cover risks such as illness (including coronavirus), hurricanes and other natural disasters, mandatory evacuations due to adverse weather, job loss, jury duty, and more. Travel Insurance is offered though Generali / CSA. Note: TRS is unable to sell plans to residents of New York or Hawaii. Guests from these states can contact the travel insurance agency directly.

Q:  How much of a deposit is required to make a reservation?

A: If you will be arriving within the next 30 days or less, the full amount is required to book. Otherwise, just a $200 deposit is required to secure a reservation.

Q:  When is my final payment due?

A: If you are staying prior to April 15, 2021, the balance of your reservation must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. If you are staying after April 15, 2021, the balance of your reservation is due 45 days prior to arrival.

Q: I have a voucher, what if the cost of my new dates is different than what I originally paid?

A: Many guests are finding that the new reservation is less expensive due to low-season rates or current specials. In this case, we recommend staying longer or choosing an upgraded property! In the event that your new reservation is more expensive, you will be able to reserve today and pay the difference 30 days prior to arrival.  When you are ready to book, feel free to first browse availability at www.trsinc.com then reach out to our Reservations Department so your voucher can be applied.

Q: Are the beaches and pools open?

A: YES, Pinellas county beaches and pools at our properties are open. Six-foot social distancing must be followed and no gathering in groups of more than 10 people.

Q: Are facemasks required?

A: Pinellas County passed a mask ordinance requiring facemasks to be worn while indoors at public spaces where six foot spacing cannot be maintained. They do NOT need to be worn while enjoying outdoor activities like the beach, nor do they need to be worn when consuming food or your favorite beverage! Masks are not required for people under the age of 18.   

Q: What can we do while in the area?

A: Aside from spending time at the beach or poolside, you may enjoy mini-golf, shopping, watersports, botanical gardens, fishing, and much more! Salons and gyms are also open. Check out our visitor guide for a list of suggested places to visit.
