Artwalk – Gulfport

The first Friday and third Saturday of every month. Beach Blvd., Gulfport. Live entertainment at this artsy, waterfront community from 6 pm to 10 pm rain or shine.

Drum Circle – Treasure Island Beach

Community drum circle on the beaches. Everyone is welcome to watch and participate in the drumming and dancing to the sunset. Every Sunday starting several hours before sunset and ending at 10 pm.

Second Saturday Gallery Walk – Downtown St. Petersburg

The second Saturday of every month, galleries are open for extended hours, many have special openings of new works and artists. Free of charge.

Gasparilla Pirate Festival- Tampa

This annual celebration includes the invasion on a 165′ pirate ship, parade, brunch, Pirate Fest, children’s parade and the outbound voyage. Don’t miss this annual event that dates back to 1904!

Florida State Fair – Tampa

This annual event salutes the state’s best in the agriculture and the equestrian industry. Shows, music, rides, food and shopping. Plenty of free entertainment included with admission.

Strawberry Festival – Plant City

A great time to discover the charm of Plant City, and the perfect time to enjoy eating ripe, luscious strawberries! Enjoy agriculture exhibits, livestock, fine arts, contest, parades, crafts, horticulture, the midway, and top-name entertainment!

Firestone Grand Prix – St. Petersburg

International teams race in the streets of downtown St. Petersburg during this three day long event. Get up close to the cars with a paddock pass and enjoy the beautiful downtown waterfront while race cars fly by and full throttle.

Kingfish Tournament – Madeira Beach

John’s Pass Monster King Fish Tournament is fun for the whole family with live music, raffles and 50/50 drawings.

Corey Avenue Craft Festival – St. Pete Beach

This open-air craft fair features handmade jewelry, ceramics, pottery and much more. An expansive Green Market lends plants, exotic flora and homemade soaps.

Mainsail Arts Festival – Downtown St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg downtown waterfront provides a picturesque setting for this art festival. A premier event on the outdoor calendar to come and enjoy art and entertainment.

John Levique Pirate Days – John’s Pass

Second weekend in June. Honoring the pioneer who discovered John’s Pass after the hurricane of 1848. Pirate ships battle then invade the Pass with special events: Pirate Ball, Boat Parade and Invasion, Kid’s Costume Contest, Live Music, Live Reenactments, Food Court and Arts and Crafts Show.

Gulf Coast Stand-up Paddle-board Championship – Madeira Beach

Paddlers from as far away as Hawaii will join area paddlers a circuit race around Treasure Island. Competitors will navigate the nine mile course through John’s Pass, the Intracostal Waterway, Boca Ciega Bay, Blind Pass and the Gulf of Mexico.

Geckofest – Gulfport

Family festival and walking parade celebrates the End of Summer and Labor Day weekend with color, whimsy, extraordinary entertainment and a street dance on Saturday.

Tangerine Blues Fest – Gulfport

Enjoy the Tangerine Blues Fest from 4 pm to 10 pm. Featuring a great line-up of blues bands, food and drinks, antique car show and children’s fun area.

John’s Pass Seafood Festival – John’s Pass

John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk host the annual Seafood Festival. Dedicated to Fishermen Lost at Sea, this event includes fresh local seafood, live music, a street dance in the village, a fishing expo, a children’s area and an Art & Craft Show, Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is free.

Clearwater Super Boat National Championship & Festival

The Join the people on boats lined and on the beaches of the 2.5 mile long race course or watch from your hotels, restaurants or condos along the beach.

Veteran’s Day Boat Parade – John’s Pass

Master sand sculptors in competition, three days of live musician the beach, arts, crafts, food, drink and kid’s activities.
