They make a mean New England-style lobster roll, stuffed with only the freshest, juiciest cold water claw and knuckle meat. We also cannot get enough of their grouper tacos, clam strip basket, and fried shrimp po’ boys. You can enjoy their simplistic, yet scrumptious creations while overlooking the serene bay on their boardwalk patio.
Dockside Dave’s
Locals and tourists alike have fallen in love with the charm of The Boardwalk Grill and Dockside Dave’s, two old-school shanties slinging some of the best seafood in Madeira Beach Florida. Grab a seat on a bar stool or the outdoor patio, and order a half-pound black grouper sandwich. Their fish sandwiches can be prepared six different ways (we prefer blackened or lemon-peppered). The recipes are relatively simple stylistically, but the flavors are game-changing. The fish tacos, meanwhile, feature massive filets of grouper, cilantro sour cream, and fresh salsa. Dockside Dave’s is also known for their mouthwatering appetizers, including the gator bites, crab cakes, country-fried calamari, and grouper bites.
Mad Beach Fish House
Madeira Bay Resort is approximately 25 feet from Mad Beach Fish House, easily the best family restaurant in the area. With ample seating, charming decor, splendid marina views, and spectacular happy hours, Mad Beach Fish House is a must-visit for families and groups. All seafood entrees should be combined with a Mad Beach signature cocktail or a local craft beer. Their Gulf Boulevard fish tacos are smothered in cilantro lime slaw, mango salsa, and chipotle aioli. If that isn’t enough to entice you, Mad Beach Fish House’s menu has everything from a spicy buffalo po’ boy to a blue crab stuffed hogfish.
