Lucky Lizard Tap House

The Lucky Lizard Tap House has over 20 taps for beer and cider. They have a large can and bottle selection, too. They’re the perfect place to try a variety of local and out-of-state craft beers. They pour local Florida brews like 3 Daughters, Cigar City, and Coppertail. They also have out-of-state options like Connecticut’s Two Roads Brewing Company and Maine’s Allagash Brewing Company.

But what makes The Lucky Lizard Tap House even more awesome is that they also serve wine and hard cider! So, if you’re not a beer drinker or just want to mix things up, this is the place for you.

If you’re looking for a tasty meal to accompany your beverage choice, look no further than the Lucky Lizard. They offer a variety of fresh dishes, like ceviche and shrimp cocktails, mojo pork tacos, and hearty sandwiches and salads. They’ve got you covered whether you’re in the mood for something light or filling. Of course, the restaurant is also the perfect place to enjoy one of their signature cocktails. So come on in and enjoy a drink and a snack!

If you’re looking for a more well-known brewery, check out Sea Dog Brewing Company. They have locations all over New England and Florida, so you might have already tried their beer. But if not, definitely add them to your list!

One of their most popular beers is the Blueberry Wheat Ale. As you might expect, it has a light blueberry flavor that’s perfect for summer. Other popular options include the Sea Dog IPA and the Sunfish Ale.

You’ll also find some mouthwatering food options here, making Sea Dog great for a full dinner stop. Try Today’s Ocean Catch or go for a lobster roll, BBQ Burger, 727 Cheesesteak, or Capt’n Eli’s Filet.

Mastry’s Brewing Company

If you want to try a local nano-brewery, head to Mastry’s Brewing Company. They’re located in St. Pete Beach, just a short drive from our Madeira Beach condo rentals. This business also stands out as the first craft brewery and tasting room on St. Pete Beach.

Mastry’s Brewing Company is all about small-batch beers with big exotic flavors. The Pais Tropical Hazy IPA is a popular beer brewed with Lemondrop, Idaho 7, Sultana, and Calypso hops. Other popular options include the MADE porter, brewed with freshly roasted Cacao and local-roasted coffee beans, and their gold medal-winning hefeweizen.

This is the nano brewery for the foodies at heart. They’re located in Gulfport, just a few minutes drive from our St. Pete Beach condo rentals.

Gulfport Brewery is all about keeping it weird and making unique beers that you won’t find anywhere else. One of their popular beers is the Unsteady Freddy IPA, brewed with Azacca, Strata, and Amarillo hops, giving it a delicious tropical fruit profile with notes of mango and pineapple. Other popular options include the Gulfport Golden Ale and the Disston City Lager, which is actually a pilsner, just to keep us on our toes.

The menu is just as tasty as their beer. They offer a large selection of finger-friendly pub appetizers and a creative collection of flatbreads, including The Camera Guy and Buffalo Soldier. They also have some gourmet hot dogs and offer some vegetarian and vegan options.

Anecdote Brewing

Located in Indian Rocks Beach, Anecdote Brewing is another great option for those looking for a local Florida brewery. They’re known for their innovative and delicious beers, as well as their friendly and welcoming taproom.

This brewery has taken a minimalist approach to its brewery and taproom. They want your focus firmly latched on the beer in your hand, not some crazy abstract painting on the wall. Still, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual, so you can come as you are and let your hair down.

Their go-to beer is the 98 In The Shade. It’s a Kolsch that’s perfect for summer with a woody aroma and a crisp, dry palate. Other popular options include the Geometric Breakfast and the Perennial Paradox, a papaya gose.
