With recognition as having “The World’s Longest Waterfront Bar”, you just know you have to pay a visit to Crabby’s On The Pass.

But the bar isn’t the only reason to take a trip to this wonderful eatery. With a 4.5 rating and a #1 (out of 27 restaurants) ranking on TripAdvisor and 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp, you simply can’t go wrong with this restaurant.

Located on the Treasure Island side of John’s Pass, an iconic, quaint fishing village from the turn of the century, Crabby’s On The Pass underscores the many other shops and restaurants on this boardwalk location. Crabby’s opened at the site of the old Gator’s Café in April 2021 after rumor swirled that an upscale resort hotel was being planned for the area. The restaurant opened as the 11th establishment under the Beachside Hospitality Group; the group’s director of marketing and events stated that Crabby’s was “there for the long haul.”

The new café’s interior and exterior are bright, with updated air conditioning and bathrooms, with updated bathrooms. A 20-foot tiki trailer serves as a full outside bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows and patio seating provide stunning views of the Gulf and drawbridge and John’s Pass. Inside features a bar and fish filleting station.

A neat thing about Crabby’s is that you can reach it by car or by boat, since it is found directly on the harbor. There is plenty of dock space available right at the restaurant; there’s help there to get you tied off, then step right onto the patio, and you’re ready for all the fun, and food Crabby’s has to offer.

The Menu

Come for the view, stay for the food—then enjoy both together!

Lunch and dinner menus feature shell bar, tacos, pizzas, sandwiches, and combo platters. Traditional, steamed, or fire-roasted crab legs are a highlight—go ahead and splurge! Additions such as calamari, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, or baked oysters make the Crab Plus selection a platter.

Red Gulf grouper: fried, grilled, blackened, or Caribbean-style. Pacific Rim tuna sandwich—seared with a cusabi drizzle, baby greens, and sesame ginger on toasted ciabatta. House-made margherita pizza. Calamari Caesar salad. Tropical Mahi Mahi tacos.

So many mouth-watering dishes to choose from, you’ll simply have to come back to Crabby’s time and again to try them all! This isn’t even considering the starters like coconut shrimp bites, fried pickle chips, avocado & shrimp ceviche, or boneless chicken wings.

Something for everyone…and that includes the little ones. Crabby’s On The Pass features a “Little Crab” Menu with all the kids’ favorites: mac n’ cheese, chicken fingers, hamburger or cheeseburger, and fish fingers, plus alfredo pasta or grilled shrimp. Comes with juice, milk, or unlimited-refill fountain drinks.

From a Rum Runner or Margarita bucket to coastal cocktails to draft and bottled beers, Crabby’s drink menu is sure to satisfy any palate. Frozen favorites such as Key Lime in the Coconut and Perfect Pina Colada; “Ritas & Grias” featuring Sangrita, Watermelon Rita, or Dosarita; and premium wines including Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The every-weekend breakfast menu lists omelets, shrimp n’ grits, biscuits n’ gravy, avocado toast, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, egg benedict, and chicken biscuit. They also have side items like home fries and fresh fruit and a kids’ menu of waffles, pancakes, or two eggs.

Live Entertainment

The atmosphere at Crabby’s On The Pass can best be described as bright and lively, thanks to the live entertainment provided every night between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the spacious patio.
